Kim Kardashian may have just revived Millennial fashion trend after sharing life update with fans

Kim Kardashian might have just brought back a Millennial fashion trend with her recent update to fans.

Fans of the Kardashian-Jenner family are known for closely following their every move, often scrutinizing their social media to catch the latest fashion trends.

According to the latest Instagram photo collection shared by the 44-year-old SKIMS founder, it seems a cherished trend from the golden age of Y2K fashion is making a comeback.

Even though I've always thought belly button piercings never went out of style, as a proud owner of one, it's undeniable that we're seeing fewer of these naval blings since the days of ultra low-rise jeans, Von Dutch caps, and flashy slogan tees.

However, we might be witnessing a change in perception now that Kim herself is sporting one.

The reality TV icon uploaded a series of eight images offering fans a peek into her 'life lately', which included adorable family snapshots, a pouty selfie, a retro car interior, and some self-care moments with her daughter, Chicago.

Yet, there was one photo that fans couldn't help but notice.

The fifth picture was a close-up of someone (presumably Kim) wearing grey track pants while lifting their shirt to reveal a belly button piercing.

One Instagram user exclaimed: "I love the bellybutton piercing!"

Another, less enthused, commented: "Piercing???!! Nooooooooooo omg," clearly not thrilled about the trend's return to the mainstream.

And someone else pondered: "Is that Kim's belly piercing?"

I suppose we’ll have to wait and see if belly rings truly make a comeback this season...

Speaking of Millennial fashion, there's another wardrobe classic they're hoping to revive after Gen Z seemingly ended the trend entirely.

We’re already familiar with the debates over high heels, the skinny jeans saga, and - naturally - the crop top decline, but it seems the latest generational clash revolves around arguably one of the most beloved fashion trends of the 2010s.

Yes, while Gen Z commonly chooses baggy jeans and cargo pants, it's evident that their older counterparts are holding onto whatever was most popular during their formative years - notably, black leggings.

The topic arose on Reddit, where someone posed the question: "What’s your 'old person' hill you’ll die on?"

Naturally, people were eager to chime in, with one user confessing: "My black leggings will have to be pulled from my cold dead hands."

And, predictably, it sparked a flood of responses from those who clearly felt the same, with another admitting: "This is how I know I’m getting old because I unironically think 'kids these days wear their pants too baggy and too low'."

I feel personally called out...
