Jennifer Aniston stunned after finding out Reese Witherspoon’s real name

Jennifer Aniston was taken aback when she learned that Reese Witherspoon's first name isn't actually Reese.

It's widely known that Jennifer and Reese have been close friends for a long time, beginning in 2000 when the Legally Blonde actress appeared as a guest on Friends, where Jennifer famously played the iconic Rachel Green.

Although they didn't share the screen again until 2019 for The Morning Show, their friendship has remained strong since their initial meeting on the sitcom's set.

Recently, they appeared on LADBible Entertainment's YouTube show Do You Even Know Me? to promote the fourth season of The Morning Show.

Reese started off confidently, saying, 'I've known this person for 25 years, how could I lose?'

The game began with Jennifer asking about an issue with one of her first houses, which turned out to be haunted. However, the real surprise came when they discussed Reese's middle name, leaving Jennifer utterly flabbergasted.

Reading the question aloud, Reese asked: "What is my real middle name? A: Jane B: Jean or C: Joan."

Jennifer guessed A, but was wrong. Reese revealed that it's actually B, Jean. Yet, this was only the beginning of the revelations, as the Friends star soon discovered when Reese casually mentioned: "It's confusing. I'm Laura Jean."

A stunned Jennifer exclaimed: "Laura Jean?"

Reese confirmed: "That's my real name, yeah," to which the astonished Jennifer responded incredulously: "Laura! Who's Laura? Who the hell's Laura?"

She joked: "I'm not calling you that from now on!" then asked: "Where did Reese come from?"

"It's my middle name," Reese explained, "I'm Laura Jean Reese."

All this time, Reese (or should we say Laura) had been using a different name!

Jennifer then inquired why her friend and co-star chose Reese as her 'acting name', to which Reese explained she 'didn't change it', but had simply always gone by Reese.

But Jennifer wasn't the only one surprised; Reese admitted she didn't know Jennifer's middle name either, which Jennifer clarified is Joanna.

Luckily, Reese regained some points when she correctly answered how Rachel had ruined an English Trifle in a Friends episode.

Fans will remember it was by adding minced beef and peas to the dessert, with Jennifer explaining that the magazine pages Rachel was using for the recipe were stuck together.

This mishap led her to accidentally turn to a shepherd's pie recipe, resulting in the hilarious and unfortunate mistake.
